Police officers in Palo Alto, California, recently captured a hilarious photo of a kitten after they rescued her from an engine compartment.
The adorable image shows Officer Zalac holding the feisty kitten while she extends three claws into the air. It was posted on the Palo Alto Police Department’s Twitter and Facebook pages and gained hundreds of likes and shares, as well as several offers of forever homes.

The cat was picked up by Palo Alto Animal Control and taken to the Pets In Need Palo Alto Shelter. The police said she will be put up for adoption if nobody claims her.
