The volunteers took the kittens to the vet, where their age was estimated at 4 or 5 months old. During their visit, the vet discovered that the kittens’ uniquely adorable appearance is due to rare chromosomal abnormalities.
One of the kittens, Dactyl, suffers an eyelid deformation called entropion. Because of his disadvantage, Dactyl had to rely on his sister, Morela, to be able to survive on the streets. When they were rescued, the vet performed surgery on Dactyl’s eyelid, giving him some much-needed pain relief. Morela, the braver of the two, remains protective of her brother, providing him with snuggles when he needs reassurance.
Thanks to the efforts of his rescuers, Dactyl’s eyelid is fixed and he’s no longer in discomfort. These happy, healthy, unique siblings are currently up for adoption together, waiting for their forever home!

They are so beautiful I would adopt them both in a heartbeat if I could. Thank you to the good samaritans and the rescuers. These two little darlings must stay together.

Such a great story to start my week with! THANK YOU TO THE ALERT CITIZENS that realized these kittens needed help. Now I hope they find their forever home!
Hmmm. What’s interesting is when a dog has entropion the surgery is much more complicated than just a couple of sutures. But adorable is right. I hope they soon find their furever home.
How sweet! I am glad they are still together and are doing well, health wise! I hope they find their forever home!!!
Awwwwwww, how very, very sweet and just goes to show the love and determination animals do have to care for one another! I hope they find a great home soon! God love you Dactyl and Morela!

Thank you rescuers . What a lovely thing to do.
It’s wonderful to see how animals can take care of each
other when they’re needed, if only humans were the same
we can learn something from them!!
Wonderful to read something good happening for once, I hope the kittens get their happy forever home very soon.
A big thank you to the people who helped get these kittens off the street. And TY to Infinite Hope and their vet for repairng Dac’s eyes.
YES! PLEASE make sure Dactyl and Morela stay together. It would be a crime to seperate these two now.
They’re Bonded Buddies and need each other. It’s always best to adopt two kitties so they can keep each other company, and out of trouble.
