Three cat siblings — big brother Blue and his sisters Meadow and Little Willow — were found abandoned in a warehouse in Dubai. Sadly, all had gone blind due to a cat flu left untreated by their former caretaker. One cat was soon fostered, but then returned because he was so traumatized by the separation, he cried out incessantly for his sisters.
But a kind woman named Catherine Magno stepped in and adopted all three siblings — even though she had heard how difficult it would be to care for cats who had lost their vision.
Happily, Magno reports that the cats have adjusted beautifully, and are full of life and affection.
Says Magno, “And it’s true what they say about blind pets — they see through their hearts.”
Thank you deeply to the Adopter — thank God for taking them under your loving wing.
hats off to that lady to take that on good job well done
This such an inspiring story about those kittens that were blind and they adopted together. I love hearing these kinds of stories. That lady that adopted them is a very special person to do that.
I have fallen in love with these 3 beautiful cats. Catherine is the beneficiary of so much love and affection from them. These cats will not behave any differently than if they could see; there will be no difference between these 3 and the other animals Catherine has. I doubt these 3 cats realize they cannot see. Their powerful animal instincts have taken over and they are perfectly comfortable as long as they have one another and love from their human. Catherine’s life will be filled with so much love, she will have a long, healthy life!
Thank you, Catherine Mango, for your kindness.
A very special lady
These adorable kittens are very lucky to be found by this kind woman!
These three cats are absolutely beautiful. They’re so close as a result of their cat flu experience. One of my three cats has the same coloring and markings as these three precious love bugs.
Three beautiful cats have come to live with you; you are blessed with love X3. Their other senses – smell, hearing, and touch have become more sensitive to compensate for the loss of sight. They recognize the sound of food being served and how it smells. No worries with these three survivors who depend on one another. You are blessed and they are blessed to have you <3 <3 <3
God bless you Catharine, they will give you years of love.
Beautiful. Thank you Catherine, it restores my faith in mankind that there are still some wonderful people out there.
Thank you Catherine for your kindness and bless you as well. I know they will all come to love you and I would like to see them on you tube so we could follow them.
So happy the care taker kept the faith!
Thank you for this story with a happy ending. And thank you to Catherine for your loving kindness.
what in the world is cat flu?
Feline influenza is a common, but debilitating viral (and occasionally bacterial) ailment, that can leave permanent damage to cats’ organs, and even lead to death. It is always best to treat a cat with proper meds, warm blankets, plenty of fluids, and constant monitoring, when the condition is present. Just as with humans, feline flu does not always respond to vaccinations.
