Nicknamed “The Oscars of Food, Fashion and Lifestyle Media,” the Taste Awards highlight the year’s best lifestyle programs in television, film, online video, radio/podcast, and photography.
Created by nonprofit JaneUnChained News Network in collaboration with the production company Inspired, New Day New Chef is a plant-based cooking series featuring talented vegans who co-host alongside Jane Velez-Mitchell. They create delicious cruelty-free foods that viewers can then make at home.
Filmed carefully during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the show’s second season features chefs, celebrities, and restaurant owners who work with nonprofit Support and Feed to provide nutritious plant-based meals to the less fortunate in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and New York. Pop singer Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas appear on the show with their mother, Support and Feed founder Maggie Baird.
Other guests include Lost‘s Emilie de Raven, American Idol‘s Mark Thompson, and supermodel Joanna Krupa.
