Co-founded by celebrity chef Spike Mendelsohn, PLNT Burger has officially announced the launch of its fourth location, which is located in Wynnewood, Pa., and will provide plant-based, planet-friendly, and affordable food options to hungry consumers in the region.
“We’re thrilled to bring PLNT Burger to Wynnewood,” said Mendelsohn. “As we continue to expand locations across the nation, our team at PLNT Burger is proud to be serving up more delicious burgers, fries, and soft-serve that celebrate our shared humanity and bring people joy.”
The new restaurant is PLNT Burger’s first in Pennsylvania. Found inside the Wynnewood Whole Foods Market, it will serve up the same plant-based American classics as the other venues in Silver Spring, Md., Washington D.C., and Columbia, Md.
“PLNT Burger allows us to celebrate our favorite foods while contributing to our health and the health of the planet,” natural foods entrepreneur and PLNT Burger co-founder Seth Goldman said. “We’re proud to open our first store in Pennsylvania in support of our mission of spreading a more just, equitable, and resilient food system.”
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, PLNT Burger is currently only offering contact-free pick-up or walk-in ‘to-go’ orders at its restaurants’ physical locations, or delivery via its new app, UberEats, Postmates, Doordash, or Grubhub.
Mendelsohn and his team have also taken measures to ensure the safety of PLNT Burger’s workers and customers, including implementing social distancing guidelines, disinfecting counters and workspaces, frequently changing gloves, requiring staff to wear masks, and pre-packaging individual drinks and sauces.
Great news!
Many plant burgers are totally amazing and very delicious. People who do not believe needs to try it at least once to know the facts about it.
FANTASTIC NEWS — WAY TO GO — GO VEGAN — GO VEGAN — GO VEGAN — EVERYONE benefits — EVERYTHING benefits — NO ONE loses.
The more places like these open the better, brilliant!
Will there be a Plnt Burger location in Pittsburgh any time soon?
Standing ovation to all who shun the cruelty of animal meat and go back to the basics which we were intended to eat as our staple. I’ve been a vegan for many, many years and I have no regrets about being one. I wish all the success for PLNT Burger and I hope one or more will come to California.
Great endeavor. Hopefully, more will follow as the population is becoming more informed of the cruelty in gruesome factory farming and the damage involved on our planet. Compassion tastes better.
