New adorable footage of a mother koala carrying her oversized baby along a road in an Australian campground surfaced last week on Reddit’s r/Australia thread.
Captured at Blanket Bay — a campground in Victoria — the video shows the mother giving her daughter a piggyback ride along a gravel path before stopping, looking toward the camera momentarily, and disappearing into the roadside vegetation.
“My guess is she’s a resident of the campground and sees people all the time,” the Redditor who posted the video wrote of the noticeably calm and curious pair.
Viewers chimed in with appreciative comments.
“This is beautiful,” wrote one user. “You made my day in lockdown so much brighter. Thank you for sharing.”
Hopefully this heartwarming clip will make your day so much brighter, too.
Motherly love knows no boundaries…..just a pity some human beings don’t learn from mother nature.
The Koala baby may be oversized. But to that Mum she is still her BABY.
Animals are need 💘 not hurt!
I see that animals make the better parents than humans. That was too sweet.
Please stop and have respect
How adorable is this?
Kathie put big posters up saying stop the cruelty stop the cruelty to elephants and all the other extinct animals with pictures of them they’ve done nothing to us why are we doing this to them
Somehow I thought brits were more civilized! Ban hunting, selling off body parts and abuse!
I always say, to much cuteness is dangerous for your health.
