After surviving a devastating barn fire, three goats have been given another shot at life — thanks to the care of rescuers and the compassion of Lady Freethinker supporters.

When the sanctuary Goats of Anarchy learned about the fire and the neglect the animals had endured on the property — the goats were not receiving adequate food and were underweight — they immediately stepped in to help. Amos, Rusty, and their friend Falkor were then taken to safety and given urgent medical attention for their injuries and malnourishment.

Lady Freethinker sponsored the goats’ recovery and ongoing care, ensuring they received the treatment, nutrition, and love they needed to heal.

Amos and Rusty — best friends who had to be separated while their wounds healed — are now reunited, joyfully romping together and curling up for naps side by side.

Falkor, who arrived at the sanctuary severely emaciated, has since gained 50 pounds and is thriving. Thanks to gentle attention and plentiful food, he’ll never again experience the pain of hunger or neglect.

Today, the three are living their best lives at Goats of Anarchy’s New Jersey sanctuary, where they’ll receive lifelong love and support.

“Because of our amazing supporters, animals like Amos, Rusty, and Falkor get the second chance they deserve,” said Lady Freethinker Founder Nina Jackel.

With your help, these resilient goats are now safe and flourishing — and together, we can ensure many more animals get a happy ending.
