A tiny, helpless, four-week-old puppy was found in County Armagh, Northern Ireland tied up in a plastic bag and thrown onto the side of the road like trash.
Two youngsters discovered the puppy when they heard feeble cries coming from the bushes along the roadside in the village of Bessbrook.
After searching for ten minutes, they discovered a plastic bag tied shut at the top. Inside was the small puppy, freezing cold and soaked in its own urine.
The rescuers immediately tried to warm the puppy, taking it to a veterinarian at the local USPCA. Tragically, it was too late and the puppy passed away.
Animals are not trash, and officials must make it clear that such abuse will not be tolerated. Sign this petition urging the Armagh County Police Service to find the person responsible for the suffering and death of this innocent puppy and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
The USPCA has offered a £500 reward for any information on this sickening crime and ask anyone with information to contact them on 028 3025 1000.
