A tiny kitten became trapped inside a wall in Earlimart, California. With patience and a carefully cut opening, Tulare County firefighters helped the little one reach safety.
Lieutenant Mendoza and Firefighter Hendrick of Engine 28 at the Earlimart station responded to help, according to GV Wire. After locating the kitten, Firefighter Hendrick cut a small access hole and gently freed the kitten without injury.
The rescue did not end when the kitten came out of the wall. Firefighters waited to see whether the kitten’s mother would return, but they could not locate her. The story ended on a happy note when a neighbor adopted the kitten.
