On Monday, firefighters bravely ran into a flaming building to save a passed-out cat from certain tragedy.
Called to a home in Fresno, Calif., the brave men and women arrived only to discover 20-foot flames engulfing a burning garage. Once inside, the firefighters found two cats, one of them unconscious.
The rescuers brought the defenseless creature to the front yard and immediately started to treat the cat for oxygen deprivation using a special mask. Thanks to the fire department’s quick thinking and caring actions, the lucky cat is alive and recovering.
The firefighters saved the house from being devoured by flames too. The homeowner was treated for minor smoke inhalation and will make a full recovery.
