Rescue workers from PETA Asia discovered a litter of puppies in a disadvantaged neighborhood in the Philippines. Gathering up the litter for treatment, they realized that for one pup, the outlook was particularly grim. The dog, who was later named Christmas, was covered in lice and had open sores on his back. Some of his wounds were even infested with maggots.
Workers thoroughly flushed his sores and provided the puppy with a much-needed bath and plenty of rest. Thanks to their tireless and heroic efforts, Christmas made a full recovery and has grown into a happy, healthy dog! He’s even found a forever home – with a loving family, other dogs, and lots of toys.
Christmas’ inspiring story and remarkable transformation are reminders of why it’s important to adopt a rescue animal and give them the second chance at life they deserve.
that was a good video of “Christmas” and his recovery into a very happy dog. Good job, good results. I want to say Happy Holidays to all and wishes for a new year of changes and justice that we bring with our petitions. I am proud to be in your company to stay strong and fight for our voice to be heard, and laws, rules and justice to the helpless, innocent animals we love.
I love happy endings. Grateful thanks to Christmas’s rescuers, and good luck and long life to him in his new home.
What an awe inspiring and heartwarming story. May this dog and others like them live a long, happy and blessed life.
Oh what a happy ending to a terrible start in life. I’m so glad Christmas has a wonderful forever home.
