While observing a herd of seals, a group of researchers noticed one that was trapped in some netting. They contacted two rescues, who collaborated to help the ailing animal.
At first, the seal was afraid of the rescuers, and struggled quite a bit as they worked to free him from the net wrapped tightly around his neck. But he eventually calmed down, and was sound asleep by the time the net was fully removed.
The workers cleaned his wound and determined that returning to the saltwater would help heal it. After ensuring the seal’s safety, they freed him back into the sea, where he could rejoin his family.
Thanks to the quick thinking of these everyday heroes, a victory for wildlife can be tallied in the long-standing fight against marine pollution.
Beautiful baby seal and BEAUTIFUL CARING PEOPLE. THANK YOU FOR THAT FEEL GOOD STORY. LIFTS MY ❤️
Kto ublizi zvieratu – potrestat ho rovnako – OKO ZA OKO, ZIVOT ZA ZIVOT!!
Well done to the researchers who rescued him and took care of him. You are real heroines. Thank you.
Thank you to all who helped.
I’m so glad they freed that baby. Thanks to all.
There are no excuses for this!!!! Sick
thank you…thank you…thank you!
Much if not most marine plastic pollution is fishing gear. Fishing harms so many animals and in so many ways – most especially fishes! Science has shown that they, too, are sentient beings who suffer fear and pain. They are as deserving of our respect and compassion as seals and all other sentient beings.
Please don’t fish or support the fishing industry. If you want seafood please opt from among the many marvelous vegan versions there are of virtually every type of seafood, and other foods, imaginable. See: http://www.FishFeel.org/seafood
Well said, Mary.
Yes Mary, you are right. Go vegan. if enough people were vegan there would be no demand for this very cruel industry. And the benefits to your body are so healthy and beneficial.
Very happy to see there are true human beings in this world with love and compassion in their hearts for animals in need. Thank you so much for your quick thinking in saving this seal. You are truly heroes. May God bless you.
Thank you. You did good!
How can we make uncaring fishermen and other polluters take responsibility and be careful about their garbage??!
Thank you for saving the baby seal.
