PETITION TARGET: Henderson Police Department and Animal Protection Services
A severely underweight puppy was allegedly discarded near a dumpster outside a Henderson, Nevada, animal hospital with a broken leg and rocks in his stomach — and evidence that his jaw had previously been broken, according to local news.
This vulnerable puppy, now named Treasure, deserved safety, love, nourishment, and compassionate care, yet his devastating condition suggests he may have endured severe abuse and neglect before being abandoned as if he were disposable.
Because authorities have not yet identified Treasure’s guardian or the person who dumped him, they must act swiftly and use every available resource to identify anyone responsible for his suffering and hold them accountable.
