PETITION TARGET: Bloomington Police Department
A defenseless cat died a horrific death after being placed in front of a vehicle and then run over twice in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Police who received a call from a distressed passerby retrieved the cat’s remains from near an intersection and then obtained video of the crime from a nearby business.
The video shows an individual placing a cat near the front passenger tire of a black Kia Soul and then running over the cat. The vehicle then circles around and runs over the cat again.
No innocent cat deserves such a grisly and painful demise. Whoever is responsible for this heinous act must be caught and held accountable.
Sign our petition urging the Bloomington Police Department to use all available resources to find and charge the person(s) involved and to push for this case to be treated seriously by prosecutors — including a maximum ban on owning animals.
