PETITION TARGET: Chief Germaine Haywood, Maryland-National Capital Park Police, Prince George’s County Division
A tiny tabby kitten only four to six weeks old was allegedly thrown from a moving vehicle on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge in Alexandria, Virginia, where he landed on a narrow ledge just feet from traffic — or a perilous plunge into the Potomac River below, according to local news.
Though the kitten survived without physical injuries, he reportedly appeared frightened after barely escaping what could have been a brutal death and apparently being treated as though his life did not matter.
While it is not known who may have tossed this innocent kitten from a vehicle, it is crucial that anyone responsible be identified and held accountable to help secure justice for him and prevent future acts of cruelty.
Sign our petition urging authorities to thoroughly investigate this case and find whoever nearly cost this kitten his life.
