PETITION TARGET: Lebanon County District Attorney Pier Hess Graf
A fox sprinted through a snow-covered field in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania as a man and a teenager on snowmobiles allegedly gave chase, then seemed to repeatedly run over the defenseless animal for more than half an hour, according to local news. The fox’s fate is unclear, but a witness who captured the incident on video said the animal looked worn out yet seemed to survive.
No living being should be subjected to such senseless torment — especially not for the sake of entertainment.
Two individuals have reportedly turned themselves in to the police and confessed to intentionally trying to run the fox over, according to local news. They are facing animal cruelty charges, among other offenses, and their hunting licenses could potentially be revoked.
Foxes are intelligent and sensitive creatures who deserve our respect and compassion. We must demand justice for this fox and help protect other animals from future harm.
Sign our petition urging the Lebanon County District Attorney to prosecute the man to the fullest extent of the law and demand intensive psychological intervention for the teenager.
