PETITION TARGET: DeSoto Police Department
Early in the morning in DeSoto, Texas, an emaciated female dog was heartlessly pulled from a car and dumped in an alleyway, according to People.
As the vehicle sped away, the dog barked sorrowfully and limped in the street, looking lost and alone on the surveillance video. She was in a dire state when animal control found her — coated in waste and clearly suffering from a serious eye wound.
The little English Bulldog was taken to an animal shelter and diagnosed with an ulcerated abscess that would require the removal of her right eye. She also had a severe infection.
Dogs are loving animals who deserve proper veterinary care and to be treated with compassion by their guardians. The person responsible for dumping this defenseless dog must be found and held accountable before any other innocent being is harmed.
Sign our petition urging the DeSoto Police Department to investigate thoroughly to find whoever is responsible for abandoning this dog.
