Two innocent and healthy dogs were viciously shot to death, and their corpses dumped on a field near Greenfield, Indiana.
The gruesome killings left neighbors disgusted, shocked, and fearful for the safety of their beloved pets.
Thanks to the homeowner who made the disturbing discovery and former Greenfield Police Chief John Jester, the slain dogs received a proper burial.
But justice for these dogs won’t be achieved until the person who committed this horrific act is caught and held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Determined to identify the criminal behind the heartless act, Jester took to Facebook with a photo of the dead beagles and a plea for tips from the public.
Sign this petition urging the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department to do everything in their power to find and prosecute the person responsible for this heinous act of animal cruelty.
Anyone with information pertaining to the dogs’ deaths is encouraged to call the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department at 317-477-1199.
