In this sad video shot at the Loro Parque marine park in Spain, a baby dolphin repeatedly bobs up and down in the water and swims in circles after performing in a show and being left alone in small pool.
Dolphins are one of the most intelligent and friendly creatures on earth, and this animal’s behavior is a clear sign of the psychological and emotional distress that is all too common at marine parks around the world. Due to their ability to jump and mimic human noises, dolphins are commonly forced into entertainment against their will.
This video shows just how devastating marine parks are for animals. Please do your part to stop the abuse by avoiding marine parks and choosing cruelty free entertainment instead.

It is terrible and unforgivable how much we abuse the wonderful wildlife around us just because we can, and for greed.
Leave them in the wild where they belong.
I’ve never like these places, and think i only saw one once never again

Que triste…
We all require and need company, no matter how fleeting it may be on a daily basis, but to be used for “show” and then left relatively alone until next required is honestly quite disgusting. In a situation such as this where an animal is born to be brought up in a social group, well where is it? What a sad life we as humans now bring upon animals to pay and watch such shows and encourage show organisers to continue to use such horrendous ways, there are other ways in which to educate people, so come on everyone, let’s give it a go and educate our young children at school so that these forms of abuse don’t get repeated.
Alle Meerestiere gehören in ihrem Lebensraum das Meer zurück!!! Und nicht in irgendwelchen künstlichen Pools????????????????????????
It won’t let me watch the video
This is so SICK ! They are SOCIAL animals, they live in GROUPS !
This NOT that difficult to comprehend !
The poor lonely baby NEEDS is mother, aunts, etc..
I would LOVE to throw one of the owners of this torture park into the water, and let them STAY there 24/7 with NO contact with other humans or family ! See how he/she …. actually ( IT ) likes it !
Thanks for educating people on the sad situations animals endure for entertainment. I didn’t know about this and now I know I will never go to a marine park and I don’t want to. These articles help me become informed more quickly about what is going on in the world of animal cruelty. 🙁
It breaks my heart, when i see this baby dolphin sad and lonely swimming in the small pool ???? We dont need Marine Parks or other Shows where innocent animals must perform cruelty tricks for the human entertainment! It’s inhuman and abuse!
