A group of clearly troubled children in Turkey tried to “drown” puppy Pascal with glue. By the time the abused puppy was finally saved, his fur was hopelessly matted and filthy, he could barely see or walk, and his skin was severely damaged.
Pascal barely escaped death, but thanks to the kind people at He’Art of Rescue’s emergency veterinary clinic, he has survived the ordeal and is on the slow path to full recovery. He still needs weeks of care to regain his nourishment and strength.
The video below shows the tragic story that, hopefully, will end in Pascal’s adoption into a loving home:
This is the second instance of young Turkish people torturing a dog that I’ve come across in the last 5 days! At least Pascal was rescued soon enough that he should recover, physically. I almost suggested that maybe there is a cultural component to this, but then I thought about how many people in the US commit offenses of cruelty to animals.
People that are known to have performed heinous acts against defenseless, innocent animals need to be seriously dealt with in and not just slapped on the wrist (if even that!) in both Turkey and the United States, along with every other country in the world. They don’t suffer consequences worthy of their crimes and therefore become habitual offenders and eventually graduate to babies, children, women, etc…
It’s nauseating!
Hope the kids who did this horrible act are made to realize that what they did was wrong and are taught a lesson! Who knows what they will do when they become older?
Why did those kids drown Pascal in glue?
Dogs are considered unclean animals in Islamic countries. There is very little respect for animal life that does not provide food for humans. Very sad but true.
They are not unclean animals, they were living the wild before we made them our pets
These kids should be punished. Maybe taking care of animals under supervision for an extended time period would teach them some respect. An American Indian tribe in Oklahoma is using troubled youth to learn respect by taking care of horses. Some prison’s in the US use Pitbulls to give their prisoners a better perspective on life.
Kids like that need to be punished, they need to learn they cannot get away with harming animals and learn to give them respect.
Pascal is beautiful — thank you for getting him in time — I pray for his happiness to return — thank you to the wonderful Doctors who are doing great work — as for the children — the monsters — who inflicted this suffering on Pascal — you MUST bring them in and hold them accountable, including their parents — they need education and enlightenment — thus, they will NEVER repeat this horror against other animals — if they do, then throw them all in prison UNTIL they GET the message — got it ?? !!
Get those kids a lesson!! Those would become bad man like donald trump if they dont learn
Little scum. They should be whipped.
Save the puppy.
What happened to the children inflicting the cruelty onto Pascal? Do they not have parents? Thank you for your help with Pascal. Truly your care and love will bring him full circle healthy. We can see the fright in his eyes, poor dear. Makes me ill.
stop it
‘where’ are your parents, ‘no’ respect, against ‘all’ abuse & cruelty, need to ‘pay’ for your crime, not acceptable, ‘punish’ these kid/kids/, they did ‘wrong!’
How about an update? Kids need punishment AND counseling. Maybe this is more widespread, and concerned people need to keep their eyes open. Would like to think this poor dog is in a good home.
Horrifying. Hope the kids get counseling ASAP.
Hi Avria,
Yes, these kids need help desperately – let’s hope they get it!

Counseling?? Really? I think they need serious jail time!
i hope these kids realize what they did was very wrong and they never own a pet again
I think those kids have serious mental problems. And will continue to harm animals . Then on to people! My wish is eye for an eye! Do to them what they did to this puppy, they need to be in a institution. Not out in society!
Those kids are badly in need of head to wall therapy
