A woman from Winnipeg — who allegedly made videos with her boyfriend showing cats, kittens, and innocent animals being crushed to death under bare feet — was recently denied bail following new charges.

After the initial charges, the couple was arrested and taken into custody, but the man was released on bail shortly after that. However, new evidence was discovered on their seized electronic devices that led to charges related to child pornography and bestiality, according to the police. Authorities also say they found texts detailing their desire to torture a child. Following these discoveries, the woman was denied bail and the man was brought back into custody.

The reasons the woman was denied bail remain unknown due to a publication ban requested by the accused.

“As we stand here now, I think it’s going to trial,” the woman’s defense attorney stated.

In a period that spanned less than five months last year, the couple reportedly took photos and footage of over 75 animals being tormented and killed.

The woman has allegedly been crushing animals to death since she was young and reportedly derives sadistic pleasure from the violence. Some videos show her crushing these animals over several minutes, and a screenshot from the couple’s alleged website shows a crushed animal who is “unrecognizable,” according to Crown Attorney Sean Sass.

It has also been reported that people seeking entry into the website where the videos were hosted were required to submit their own crush videos, which could potentially lead to more charges.

Thanks to our concerned supporters, LFT’s petition seeking justice for these tortured animals has over 42,000 signatures. The vulnerable animals who literally had their lives crushed out of them for these videos are gone, but we may still help protect future animals and children from experiencing such horrors. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to sign the petition to speak up for the innocent animals killed for these cruel videos.
