Plant-based company The Very Good Butchers is giving away a year’s worth of vegan meat in their ‘Very Good Person Giveaway.’ The lucky winner will be announced in December.
Entrants are asked to nominate and describe someone they know who has “made a difference, embodies kindness, and thinks of others” in one or two sentences. The person who nominates the winner will also receive free plant-based meat and ‘swag’ for a year (valued at $2,500).
“Many very good people are struggling right now, and we want to recognize and give holiday cheer to someone special by giving them, and the person who appreciates them, a special gift that also supports a plant-based diet,” The Very Good Butchers CEO and co-founder Mitchell Scott said in a press release.
The top prize winner will receive the ‘Big Box’ every month for a year. The box includes two packs of Very Good Burgers, one pack of Smokin’ Burger, one pack of Smokin’ Bangers, one pack of Very British Burgers, two packs of Taco Stuff’er, one pack of BBQ Jackfruit, two packs of Ribz, and two packs of Pepperoni.
There are also prizes for other top contenders, including:
- Second Prize: three months of Very Good Box and swag for the winner and their nominator (valued at $350)
- Third Prize: one month of Very Good Box and swag (valued at $150)
- Runner Up: Bangers, Burgers, and Taco Stuff’er and swag for five nominees and nominators (valued at $50)
Prize recipients must be in Canada or the United States.
