Captive wildlife around the world need your help! Please join Lady Freethinker for a week of online action from July 6-10 to encourage ethical tourism and stop photo ops with animals – where terrified tigers, elephants, primates and more are chained and whipped, roughly handled for photo ops, and forced into submission through violence and fear for tourist entertainment.
Following numerous investigations revealing the exploitation of captive animals, the evidence is clear: Animal suffering for selfies is a global problem. These innocent animals are denied their natural instincts, and they lose their dignity and autonomy just so strangers can take photos.
These forced photo ops also send troubling messages to children who are brought to these facilities. They may leave thinking that animal cruelty and exploitation is normal, and that animals exist for human entertainment.
Take action this week to help captive animals, and make a better future for all!
Please remember to always be professional and respectful when you are advocating for animals to achieve the most effective results.
