PETITION TARGET: Hampshire Constabulary
UPDATE (7/14/2022): We sent our petition, signed by more than 23,000 people, to the Hampshire Constabulary. Thank you to everyone who spoke up for this innocent dog! Unfortunately, we were not able to obtain any information about whether anyone was identified and held accountable for this atrocious act of abandonment. We’ll keep doing all we can for animals everywhere. —Lady Freethinker Staff

An elderly and ailing Staffordshire bull terrier cross was cruelly stuffed into a sports bag and dumped in a car park to die in the Hilsea district of Hampshire County in the UK.
Crawling with fleas, the dog showed signs of severe neglect, including overgrown nails, muscle wastage, and a growth on his right hock.
The male dog was found by a passerby, who rushed him to the local RSPCA, but tragically the dog died before he could get the help he so desperately needed.
Instead of receiving the medical care and kindness this old boy deserved, he was abandoned to live out his final hours cold, frightened and alone.
With no way to identify the dog or guardian, the Stubbington Ark RSPCA Animal Shelter is appealing to the public to come forward with information by contacting 0300 123 8018.
Sign the petition urging the Hampshire Constabulary to find the people responsible for the abandonment and death of this dog, and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
