When it comes to spying on citizens, the U.S. gets a little help from it’s friends, as Edward Snowden’s leaks have revealed.

This interactive map (from¬†Amnesty International and Privacy International)¬†shows which countries share personal data, and how they do it. It’s based on confidential documents Snowden revealed in 2013; and as Amnesty International’s Human Rights Now blog notes, “These private arrangements are almost totally hidden from view and attack the privacy of hundreds of millions of people.”
