When it comes to spying on citizens, the U.S. gets a little help from it’s friends, as Edward Snowden’s leaks have revealed.

This interactive map (from Amnesty International and Privacy International) shows which countries share personal data, and how they do it. It’s based on confidential documents Snowden revealed in 2013; and as Amnesty International’s Human Rights Now blog notes, “These private arrangements are almost totally hidden from view and attack the privacy of hundreds of millions of people.”
