Stabbed and bleeding, two defenseless dogs tragically lost their lives after allegedly being attacked by a man in Sherman, Texas, according to local news.
When officers arrived at the scene, they were met with a chilling sight — fresh blood inside the entrance of the home. They then found two dogs clinging to life, with “fresh, major lacerations to their sides,” according to the Sherman Police Department.
The canines were promptly brought to the veterinary hospital, but the injuries were so severe that neither survived.
As officers detained the suspect, they spotted blood on his body and clothing, and additional evidence was reportedly found linking the man to the stabbings. He’s now facing two felony counts of Cruelty to Non-Livestock Animals.
Reportedly attacked and left to bleed out in agony— these innocent dogs did not deserve to suffer such a violent and senseless act.
