A puppy named Hank was left freezing in a porta-potty for more than two days in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan, according to local news.
An employee who services the porta-potty found Hank in a heartbreaking state — surrounded by feces and urine, with no water and only a tiny amount of food.
A woman suspected of abandoning Hank told police she left him there because her landlord wouldn’t accept pit bulls in her building, according to the authorities. She has since been arrested.
There is no excuse for leaving a helpless puppy trapped in a filthy, frigid container with no water for over two days. Had Hank been found any later, he may have frozen to death.
Sign our petition urging the Genesee County Prosecutor to prosecute this woman to the fullest extent of the law — including a lifelong ban on having animals.
