PETITION TARGET: Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adams
Four 16 to 20-week-old sheepadoodle puppies were allegedly drowned in cow manure by a breeder in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, according to local news.
The young pups—Tammy, Terry, Todd, and Tom—were reportedly brutally killed after the man claimed he couldn’t find buyers for them because they had black coats. The man told authorities that he then discarded the bodies in a compost pile on the farm.
The accused faces four felony counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and four misdemeanor counts of cruelty to animals; however, repeated court delays have left activists concerned that the case isn’t being taken seriously.
These innocent puppies allegedly suffocated to death in cow waste simply because they were deemed unsellable — an act of cruelty that is both heartbreaking and unacceptable.
Sign our petition urging the Lancaster County District Attorney to prosecute the individual responsible to the fullest extent of the law — including mandating intensive psychological intervention and a lifelong ban on having animals.
