A young blue-heeler mix tragically died after being found tied up and burned alongside a roadside in Springfield, Missouri, according to news.
A compassionate passerby rushed the young canine to emergency veterinary care after noticing the innocent dog bound in zip ties and suffering by the highway.
A graphic photo of the dog from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post shows burn marks on her belly, snout, and around her eyes.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office reported that the one-year-old dog sadly did not survive despite the veterinary team’s best efforts.
The individual(s) responsible for this senseless act of violence must be found and held accountable.
No animal deserves to be tied up and burned.
