Two-year-old cat Bunny was reportedly thrown into a wall, had the tips of her ears bitten off, and suffered two broken legs in a horrific case of cruelty in Pulaski County, Kentucky, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.
This innocent feline, who was pregnant at the time of the torture, has had surgery to place screws in one of her legs and remove infected ear tissue, and faces a long and grueling recovery.
The man accused of inflicting this abuse is alleged to have killed two other cats the previous month, by strangling and/or suffocating them.
He has since been charged with three counts of torture of a dog or cat for his alleged involvement in both cases.
The terror and agony Bunny must have felt as the tops of her ears were cruelly bitten off and her fragile legs were shattered is beyond heartbreaking.
Sign our petition urging the County Attorney to prosecute the individual responsible for this torturous abuse to the fullest extent of the law — including mandating intensive psychological intervention and a lifelong ban on having animals.
