Mordecai (you can call him Morty) was once trapped in a cramped backyard hutch, exposed to frigid temperatures and unable to hop, run or do any of the other activities that bunnies crave. He was so badly neglected, his skin was infested with botflies.
After winding up in an animal shelter, Morty was handed over to PETA, and promptly adopted by an organization staffer. Now, instead of shivering in an outdoor hutch, Morty gets plenty of pets on the nose (his favorite) in a warm home with a human who loves him. Not to mention all the Jenga he can play!
