In a horrifying video, a mother duck can be seen trying to flee from a towering figure pursuing her in Pembroke Pines, Florida, only to be cornered against a fence and brutally stomped on, according to local news.
But the cruelty doesn’t end there: The attacker then allegedly stands on her small body for several minutes until she dies, and additional footage reportedly shows the man chasing and trampling ducklings, who were later found dead.
While a man has been arrested in connection with the case and faces an aggravated animal abuse charge, authorities must treat this case with the seriousness it deserves to help protect other animals and send a clear message that animal cruelty will not be tolerated.
Sign our petition urging the Broward State Attorney to prosecute the individual responsible to the fullest extent of the law and seek intensive psychological intervention and a ban on having animals.
