PETITION TARGET: San Jose Police Department
A German Shepherd puppy suffered a bullet wound after being shot in her snout in San Jose, California, local news reported.
The 10-month-old dog was heard crying out in pain after gunshots were fired, according to a witness.
The innocent dog, now named Marley, was rushed to San Jose Animal Care Center where she received care. Fortunately, she survived the shooting.
Marley is thankfully recovering, according to a press release from the city, but the bullet shattered her jaw and injured her paw, requiring reconstructive surgery.
No dog should have to endure such senseless violence.
The individual(s) responsible for causing this defenseless puppy to suffer a horrific injury has not yet been identified.
Sign our petition urging the San Jose Police Department to thoroughly investigate and apprehend the person(s) responsible, before they have the chance to harm another innocent animal.
