In a vicious and heartless attack, an alligator was brutally shot with two arrows by an unknown perpetrator, who cruelly tied the suffering animal’s snout shut.
Discovered in a pond in Fort Myers, the wounded alligator still had the arrows protruding from his body.
“The gator had two arrows impaled into [his] side and a rope wrapped around [his] snout,” SWFL Crime Stoppers wrote on Twitter. “The gator was safely removed from the pond by deputies [and] @MyFWC.”

No living creatures deserves to be the victim of such a horrific act of aggression. The perpetrator(s) must be apprehended to prevent further harm to other animals.
