Abandoned and left to die on the side of the road, a starving, two-year-old dog was near death when someone in Shropshire, England, found and brought her to a local vet.
Named Honey because of her “sweet nature,” the innocent pup needed immediate attention after her guardian dumped her in the freezing cold.
“This poor dog was clearly emaciated and all her bones were protruding,” said RSPCA Inspector Jackie Hickman. “I was utterly shocked by her condition. She must have been terrified as she was left to suffer all alone at the side of a road in a rural area on a really cold morning. She was hypothermic and if she wasn’t found at this time she could have died within a few hours.”
The culprit responsible for such an inhumane act must be found and prevented from harming other animals. Please, sign this petition urging West Mercia Police Chief Constable Anthony Bangham to use all available resources to find the perpetrator and hold him or her responsible for Honey’s suffering.
Multiple sources are requesting additional information that might help Honey get the justice she deserves. Please, call the RSPCA at 0300-123-8018, West Mercia Police PC Amanda Broadley at 0781-405-2061, or Crimestoppers at 0800-555-111.
