Lady Freethinker’s Save Dogs in Korea Day
Lady Freethinker’s second annual Save Dogs in Korea Day was on August 4th, calling attention to dogs facing the brutal “Bok Nal Dog Eating Days.” Dogs are killed and eaten in the form of boshintang, or dog meat soup, during Bok Nal — which occurs over three days believed to be the hottest of the year. Most S. Korean citizens do not eat dog meat and want the trade to end. True change is on the horizon from within the nation, and LFT supports those local efforts.
