Meet Pudding the kitten, who was discovered underneath the dwelling of an LA homeowner, alone and with her umbilical cord still attached.

The homeowner had noticed stray cats lurking around their home and assumed the mother left Pudding behind. They took the tiny kitten, who weighed just 76 grams and needed medical care, to Alley Cat Rescue.

When Pudding first arrived at the shelter, she was smaller than a toothbrush. Since then, she’s grown bigger by the day, thanks to the help of her caretakers, and is now just a bit larger than the bottle she feeds from.

Pudding struggled with the bottle at first, but she got the hang of it soon enough. In just a couple of days, her weight doubled.

Rescuers from Alley Cat Rescue are working with the homeowner who discovered Pudding to find and spay her mother. In the meantime, Pudding has been placed in a loving foster home, where she continues to thrive.

We hope Pudding continues to grow into a healthy, happy feline!
