When 14-year-old dog Chloe ran off during a hike on Mt. Bross in Colorado, her owners were frantic to find her. When she did not come home that night, they grew even more concerned.

The weeks went by, and all hope seemed lost.

But fortunately, hiker Trinity Smith had heard rumors of a dog crying from the mountain top. So she and companion Sean Nichols headed up to see if they could find anything.

Eventually, they located Chloe. She was starving, but had somehow managed to survive for six weeks on top of the mountain.

After the rescue, Chloe was quickly reunited with her ecstatic family. Thank you, Trinity and Sean for saving Chloe’s life.
