In November, ten African penguins were released back into the wild after rehabilitation. The group of young birds had been found washed up on the shore months earlier, suffering from illnesses and ailments.

Once fully recovered, the penguins waddled their way back to freedom at Plettenberg Bay to the cheering-on of their rehabilitation staff and hundreds of others.

We hope they make their way back to their colony and enjoy a life of community, fresh air, and good health!
