UPDATE (6/27/2022): We sent our petition, signed by more than 20,000 people, to the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office. Thank you to everyone who spoke out on behalf of these innocent animals! In an act of unfathomable evil, someone taped up the legs of a helpless dog, bound her with rope and threw her from the window of a moving car onto the busy I-20 interstate in Louisiana, where she was hit and dragged along the road by multiple cars. The impact ravaged her body with multiple skull fractures, broken bones, and extensive road rash.
Tragically, her severe injuries claimed her life, despite vets’ best attempts to save her.
Webster Humane Association named the puppy Faith because she serves as a reminder that we must keep fighting for animals who have been victimized by acts of violence. Law enforcement confiscated the collar, rope, and duct tape found on Faith’s body as evidence — but now, they must make every effort to find those responsible.
Sign this petition to urge local law enforcement to use all of their resources to identify and punish the perpetrator(s) of this heartless abuse to the full extent of the law. No animal should endure this cruelty and a precedent must be set that heinous crimes such as this will have severe consequences.
