Fluffy, a baby Mexican dwarf porcupine, was all alone when she was brought to the Nosara Refuge for Wildlife in Costa Rica in December 2018. The organization rehabilitates animals and helps them prepare for life back in the wild.

Fluffy was joined a month later by Lulo, and now the two are inseparable. They spend their days eating and playing together, and now enjoying the company of an adorable, plush teddy bear.

According to StoryTrender, Lis Key, PR and Communications manager for International Animal Rescue, stated, “The teddy bears are used at the Refuge to provide warmth and comfort to very young animals that have lost their mothers.”

The two porcupettes clearly love their makeshift mommy, and we love watching their happy family!
