This may be one of the most epic cat rescues of all time.

When Hope for Paws first arrived on the scene after receiving a call about a cat in trouble, they were not prepared for what they found — a mama cat and her kittens, stuck down a 60-foot drainpipe. The situation was so tricky, the rescue had to be temporarily delayed while rescuers searched for a solution.

The next day, the rescue team returned with some serious equipment. First, they rigged a camera and flashlight to a remote-control car on a rope so they could get a better look at what was going on. Then, they crafted a 60-foot pole, and maneuvered it down the pipe to rescue the mother first, and the kittens next.

Fortunately, the whole family made it through the ordeal just fine.

Thank you, brave rescuers!
